“You guessed right! I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life, so, like everyone else around me, I did consulting interviews and landed a consulting job! I hated it. I tried to stick it out but only lasted a year. I decided to work with a friend on a business idea he had and ended up co-founding a mobile payments business! That’s how I discovered my passion for entrepreneurship.”

Must keep typing to cover up this thing that i can't remove!

"I had it all planned out; work at the prestigious investment banking firm, get a return offer, and be set for a few years. Turns out, I hate iBanking; I quit three days into my internship. I spent Senior year getting rejection after rejection, but I kept learning and kept applying. Two years later, I’m still loving the work I do as a Data Scientist at Credit Karma"

“In retrospect, I’m actually pretty grateful that my first job was such a poor fit.  It pushed me to dig deep and understand what was important to me personally in my career.  It helped me see that what defines a successful career isn’t a one-size-fits-all concept.  And I’m glad my second job was just ok too.”

"My parents wanted me to study engineering, so I did. My parents wanted me to be financially stable after college, so I took the better-paying job at an established company instead of the more exciting opportunity at a social-impact startup. But my parents also wanted me to be happy. When I quit after a year, they listened to my reasons and supported my decision. Five jobs later, I'm the head of an engineering team at a company that I truly believe in -- and yes Mom, I'm financially stable."
